Meet the team of pro punters here

Racing Watch –

John Walter – @J_Walter23 – Flemington Race 6 #17 Sylpheed

Walter Says: “Amazed this horse has come up favourite. Had things against last start but now meets a stronger field with an awkward draw at a distance she’s not fully proven at. Well under the odds and expect her to drift.”

Champion Bets –

Nathan Snow – @snowbetKembla Grange Race 1 #1 Diplomacia

Snow Says: “Had all the favours to win just a moderate race last start. Now fourth up and dropping back in distance looks unsuitable. It finds a race with considerably more depth despite only a small field.”

Punting Form –

Shane Baker – @PuntingFormEagle Farm Race 6 #1 Toni May

Baker Says: “Not usual for me to suggest laying a horse which finished as stylishly as this did last start in winning. However, the current market price seems short considering what may be a few negatives; Last start was a very slowly run race, it races at Eagle Farm for the first time (and first time in the City for that matter), drawn an outside barrier and most importantly there are other runners who have better overall time ratings which should keep this one honest.”

Ratings2Win –

Paul Daily – @PaulD01Eagle Farm Race 6 #7 Sidero Star

Daily Says: “Won by a big margin last start in a Class One at the Gold Coast in what was a much easier race. The quality of his opposition that day was below typical Class One standard and ore like a provincial maiden. Faces a tougher field today and $5.00 in early markets make him a value lay.”

Queensland Trials –

Chris Nelson – @qldtrials  – Eagle Farm Race 2 #1 Atouchmore

Nelson Says: “Backing up today after enduring a tough trip at Toowoomba on Saturday night racing wide throughout. Whilst the run was game sticking on well to run third, it surely took plenty out of him. He rises 200m today facing tougher opposition and has opened equal favourite. Happy to take him on.”

Horse Racing Professionals –

Dean the Trial Spy – @DeanTrialSpy   – Flemington R8 #14 Fabrizio

Dean Says: “Has towelled up benchmark class horses in a couple of Randwick mile runs, but steps up to listed grade over 1800m at here. Was a solid effort in the Epsom after going far too hard early. May not be suited leading here given the pattern on Derby Day and forecast rain will bring others into it. Has gone to the well a few times this prep so can be risked at the price.”
