Meet the team of pro punters here

Punting Form –

Shane Baker – @PuntingForm – Sunshine Coast – Race 3 #6 Star Echo

Baker Says: “Happy to take on the early favourite a maiden staying race over 2200m. This runner is also a backmarker, drawn wide, with the rail out between seven and nine metres. The big field of runners under this scenario should provide enough opportunity for Star Echo to find trouble in running and represent a good lay proposition.”

John McLeod – @macbetjohn – Sunshine Coast – Race 3 #6 Star Echo

McLeod Says: “Tough day to find one to lay. Star Echo is coming out of quite a good form race and the gate may not be a concern because of the speed, but it is a 2200m maiden and is $2.70 which is short enough!!”

Horse Racing Professionals –

Geoff McMurray – @mcmurray_geoff – Geelong – Race 4 #10 Pretty Mama

McMurray Says: “Looks a very tricky race today for Pretty Mama. Likely to get back from a middle draw, stepping up 300m in distance and faces a few horses well suited in Miss Arietta, Rip Girl and Step On It. Current price around $3.00 looks too skinny for mine.”

Champion Bets –

Nathan Snow – @snowbet –  Canterbury Race 2 #2 Colosimo

Snow Says: “Only average run first up for the new stable when weakened late. Gets blinkers on so may have some improvement, but needs plenty despite an OK position in run.”

Racing Watch –

John Walter – @J_Walter23 – Sunshine Coast Race 7 #7 Dream Master

Walter Says: “Blinkers on last start and led throughout in dominant fashion back to 3YO Maiden grade in Northern NSW. Straight to a Class Two here and loses his regular rider and draws the inside gate. There are some genuinely promising types engaged that will certainly test him out this time around. Can win, but $2.90 looks very short with the sharp class and other queries against.”

Racetrack Ralphy –

Ralph Horowitz – @rtralphy – Geelong Race 7 #1 Sammy The Snake

Horowitz Says: “’Sammy’ will roll forward and bat away in his usual honest way, but his close up city form he brings from Caulfield should be through the context of brutal wind day which saw the meeting abandoned shortly after. In a race of little depth he was $26 with Damien Oliver riding, and here gets the apprentice who is no wins from her 22 rides at single figures since the start of June. His previous three country places were once the blinkers went on and ‘every possible’ situations. Both of Ciaron Maher’s Harvard and Arohata come off genuine races last start. Bit Of A Lad and Baja Moon are also likely to be competitive. From a win perspective $5-6 Sammy The Snake looks far too short and is my lay.”

racebk –

Ben Krahe – @racebk_com – Redcliffe Harness – Race 4 #3 Ashi Jetsun

Krahe Says: “Sat in the ‘death seat’ last start when only falling into fourth place at 6/4 in a similar type race. The Restauranteur and Werelivingthedream go forward so the best possible map may again be the death seat. Throw in the fact there are other live chances in the race and this one is likely to go around “under the odds.”
