Race Comment

The Hyperion Stakes is your typical profile event. We are looking for a strong 1600m horse that has usually come through a preparation that may have included running in the Roma Cup then the Belmont Sprint, taking the progression from the 1200m to 1400m and then here to the 1600m. We saw the Class horse in Scales Of Justice first up in the Belmont Sprint over 1400m. He probably wasn’t completely screwed down, but from Barrier 12 the run was super after being forced to be three wide without cover the entire journey and was still strong at the finish, just failing to hold out Rock Magic who had the perfect run. From Barrier 5 this week, it will get a much more economical run on speed, will be fitter and gets to his ideal trip over 1600m. Looks a cracking bet. High Confidence.
