Match Odds

The pick of the Thursday morining matches is this game between two European heavyweights to decide who wins Group F.

Real Madrid have the home advantage but it’s Dortmund who currently occupy the top position in the group. Holding a two-point lead, Thomas Tuchel’s team need to avoid defeat to secure their position. Dortmund are in decent form right now, having lost only one of their last 11 games.

Zinedine Zidane’s side are doing even better. They’ve not lost in any of their 23 games this season, but find themselves second in the group after their shock 3-3 draw with Legia Warsaw. In the reverse fixture against Dortmund, they were three minutes from victory until an Andre Schurrle goal levelled things.

At the weekend it was Madrid who were scoring a late equaliser, as Sergio Ramos found the net in the 90th minute to force a 1-1 draw at Barcelona in El Clasico. That point preserved Real’s six-point cushion at the top of La Liga.

Real Madrid To Win

This is a tricky one to predict as Dortmund are well capable of getting the away draw they need, but the price of a Madrid win is too big to ignore.

It’s rare to see a side that are unbeaten, playing at home and the current holders of the Champions League, priced so close to even money. Madrid have won their last five games and the 1.90 for them to get the victory they need to win the group, should be snapped up.
