Race 1 Bold Trease Heat 1
#7 Ring The Bell
He is clearly the class stayer of the race. The reason you will be getting backable odds about him is due to the box draw. He only really gets going when he finds the rails and there is a question of when this will happen. I am confident he will be able to find a position on the paint by the winning post the first time around and will come home like a freight train to win.
#1 It’s A Bird
Even though she won over 595m last start she was in much easier company and I expected her to thrash her rivals. She had to work through the field and didn’t seem to appreciate being on the rails in the run. She only just got up on the line and the time was only steady. This is a much tougher race, she is every chance to get spat out the back early and she should be far too short on the exchange for my liking.
BACK (WIN) Ring The Bell 3 units at >$2.90
LAY (WIN) It’s a Bird 3 units at <7.50
Race 2 Bold Trease Heat 2
#7 Burn One Down
It is not often I would tip punters into a dog who is such a short quote, but this chaser is an absolute freak who could currently be the best greyhound in the country. He is great to watch and he shows amazing mid race acceleration and incredible track sense. This is not the strongest heat and even if he was bumped heavily early he should still round up these rivals and win.
This chaser has been in the money in 25 of his 36 starts in Western Australia. He is all class and he looks well drawn out wide here as Aston Harvey will be looking for the fence early. He should find a forward position here and he should be able to hold on for a placing.
BACK (WIN) Burn One Down 10 units at > $1.20
BACK (PLACE) Ramifications 2 units at >$2.00
Race 11 Bold Trease Heat 3
There looks to be plenty of early pace in this field and there is a chance that Mepunga Rosie, Come on Fantasy and Silverali will all set a hot pace up front and get a stich late and come back to the field. This sets the race up nicely for the back markers, including Azurite, who should drop out to the rear of the field in the early stages and click through her gears and storm home late. She will really make her presence known here.
#8 Come On Fantasy
She should find a forward position very easily with It’s a Fling, Azurite and Esparza lacking early speed. However, I expect Mepunga Rosie and Silverali to pester her for the lead and for this to take a toll late. I expect her to get swamped late here. She has also never won a race from this draw in 10 starts.
BACK (WIN) Azurite 2 units at >$4.80<
LAY (WIN) Come On Fantasy 2 units at <$7.50
Race 12 Bold Trease Heat 4
#4 Senator Monelli
He showed great early acceleration early in his first start at the track 2 weeks ago. He ended up running a slick 42.17 and now that he has a run over this trip under his belt, along with the fact the track was wet I believe he can go several lengths quicker here. I am hoping he doesn’t receive too much pressure early and that he can lead all the way.
#6 Jaimandy Hatty
He can be prone to making mistakes in his races but he his track sense seems to be improving with every start. He looks to be in career best form. He has improved his box manners and I expect him to get forward early and run a big race. I would be shocked if he couldn’t find a placing against these rivals.
BACK (WIN) Senator Monelli 3 units at >$2.70
BACK (PLACE) Jaimandy Hatty 2 units at <$1.50
