Lay Nominations, Saturday 25th November 2017

Every week at Betfair, On Course Bookmakers from across the country will be nominating their LAY of the week.

Get the latest LAY nominations for Saturday  25th November below.

Peter McCormack (WA)

Ascot Race 9 #10 Friaresque

McCormack Says: “A get back and run on type who is always hitting the line hard, a perennial black booker who doesn’t win out of turn. Happy to take it on at the $3.00 opening quote.”

Ray Swannie (VIC)

Wodonga [Friday] Race 6 #10 Linguist

Swannie Says: “Looked good winning at Flemington but it was only a 70 grade race. Up to open class and won’t get an easy lead makes it a risk at $2.00.”

Kevin Saber  (VIC)

Ballarat Race 8 #7 Mr. Garcia

Saber Says: “Amazingly short, considering the step up in class from 1800 to 2000 is second up. BM90 to Listed class. The Weir genius will have to be at the top of its powers!”

Jonathan Walsh  (VIC)

Ballarat Race 9 #11 Debonairly

Walsh Says: “This horse has had some obvious issues and was vetted and found to be lame after her last start. She’s come up favourite Saturday and I am happy to risk due to injury cloud.”

David Dwyer (NSW)

Rosehill Race 8 #9 Bon Amiss

Dwyer Says: “Punters hammered bookies last start when it was $1.70 into $1.30 and bolted in. However it has drawn wide in a fast race against some talented horses and will need to be good to win. At $2.60 I am happy to take it on.”

Barry Cook (NSW)

Gosford Race 8 #9 Aisance

Cook Says: “Beat an ordinary lot last start. Will be short. Happy to appease the punters.”

Steve Walters (TAS)

Morphettville Race 5 #5 Embecee Lil

Walters Says: “Will be giving the leaders far too much ground in what may turn out to be a sit and sprint affair.”

Norm Oke (VIC)

Ballarat Race 8 #7 Mr. Garcia

Oke Says “It was a good win at Flemington on Oaks Day for this fella but that was a Benchmark 90, this is the Ballarat Cup. Although not an overly strong race it still looks a fairly competitive, Mr Garcia had a sweet run in transit from the inside gate last start, he jumps from an outside gate this time, is under the handicap and is very short for me.”

Curly Seal (SA)

Morphettville Race 5 #7 Set to Sparkle

Seal Says “Meeting stronger field than previous, risking at $2.60.”
