Third-up here – shows some speed but needs to improve.

Trialled soft, 27 days off. Ran on in best part of the track latest.

(8) Charmmebaby

New trainer here. Drops weight but not sure of rating.

(9) Matowi

Consistent rating here. Battled away late at Eagle Farm. Wet will be OK.

(10) Guise

Third-up here off long-ish spell. May improve.

(11) Indispensable

Went OK on Sunday. Backs up 5 days later. Fitter and will race handy. Advantaged.

(12) Smart Meteor

Apprentice rider on here. Fair run fresh. Needs to improve.

SUMMARY

The pace here will be average at best. For that reason I think Indispensable has a chance here. Fitter and should slide forward and get a nice run.

Kubrick is going like a bomb of late and did have an easy trial without any gear, but this is his hardest test.

Willo Titto could run into a place if he has a touch of luck early from the bad gate.

Niccanova and Ligulate both have chances and can’t knock.
