We’re continuing to expand our market offering based on customer demands and we’re pleased to announce that going forward, we will offer markets on the Residential Property Price Indexes (RPPI) on the Exchange.

You can access all of these markets on the Betfair Exchange where you can Back, Lay and Trade.
The MBR will be 5%.
We will start offering Residential Property Price Indexes from this weekend (April 4th).
Customers will have five betting options for each market, reflecting the change in the quarter:
We will have 9 markets in total.
All capital cities will be offered, which include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart, Darwin and Canberra.
We also offer a weighted average market of the eight capital cities.
We will be checking with the Australian Bureau of Statistics for the results.
Markets will not be closed in advance of the result.
It is the customer’s responsibility to manage their own position, and Betfair will not be responsible for suspending this market at our discretion.
We will settle the markets based on the results released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
The ABS releases its results more than 2 months after the close of the quarter. We will leave the markets open and allow customers to manage their positions until the results are known.
