My preference to back Koepfer comes when backing players where he can use his opponent’s pace for his own good. Koepfer has won the last 7 sets vs Opelka across grass/clay/hard, and Opelka will know it. Worth a play with the 3.5 game headstart.
Betting Strategy
BACK: Koepfer +3.5 games (1 unit recorded at $1.98)

There wasn’t a lot of positives to come out of the first round win of Garin against Bagnis, needing 5 sets to get the job done. Martinez was the better player for 85% of the match with Delbonis, finishing off strongly after an early medical timeout. Garin a lay at the current quote.
Betting Strategy
LAY: Cristian Garin (risk 1 unit to win 1.06 units)

Keys got through a very tricky match-up with Sofia Kenin on the back-up from her Adelaide title. The day off will help here, and I don’t see Cristian having the right mix of power and movement to be a threat against Keys in these conditions.
Betting Strategy
BACK: Total Games under 19.5 (1 unit recorded at $1.93)

Zanevska was very lucky to get through in straight sets against Juvan, who was coming into the match under an injury cloud. Parrizas-Diaz for mine has looked the more comfortable in the Melbourne conditions, and responded well to a late change of opposition in round 1. Won’t generate the same number of UE’s as Juvan. Value at $2.
Betting Strategy
BACK: Parrizas-Diaz to win (1 unit recorded at $2.00)

Whilst Alexander Zverev should be a commanding favourite, I am not so sure that John Millman should be odds above $15. Millman with nothing to lose is dangerous, just ask Roger Federer last time Millman was on RLA night session. Looks a solid back-to-lay given Millman’s success at taking sets off Zverev.
Betting Strategy
BACK TO LAY: John Millman
Step 1) Risk 1 unit at odds $15 or above (odds $20 at time of writing)
Step 2) If step 1 is matched, set up LAY bet at $4 for a stake of 1.5 units (liability 4.5 units) and set to KEEP IN PLAY
