The Doomben Roses is a Group 3 Thoroughbred Australian horse race which is conducted every year in early May at Doomben Racecourse in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The race is open to three year old fillies and is run over the distance of 2020 meters which is approximately 11/4 miles. It is the main lead-up race for the Queensland Oaks. The Prize money awarded in the year 2008 was AUD$176,100.

The Doomben Roses was started in the year 1996 as a recognized race until 2002. From the year 1996 to 1997, the distance was set to 1915 meters. In the year 1998, it was raised to its current 2020 meters. The most famous winner of the race in the year 2001 is winner Ethereal, who moved on to win the same year's Melbourne Cup. After winning the 2002 horse race, Palidmah set a new fast track record of 2:01.95 for the present distance. To date, Roger James is the only coacher to win twice the horse race.

In the year 2008, Heavenly Glow was the winner, R. Thompson was the jockey, Allan Denham was the trainer, the owner of the horse was Syndicate and the time taken to win was 2:05:50.
