Sir Adrian Knox was the chairperson of the Australian Jockey Club during the period of 1906 to 1919 and he was the one who introduced many new alterations. He was the one who introduced totalisator at Randwick which soon spread to all other race courses in the country. He competed in many horse racing during the period of racing including the 1910 Sydney cup winner.
